I’ve been holidaying in the Lamington Ranges in Queensland for a couple of days over the New Year period. It’s easy to let health slip when I don’t have access to all my usual supply. Today I’m starting my day (and 2013!) with a green tea.
Green Tea greatly improves digestion and can be used as a digestive aid to cut fats and oils from rich meals. It can also be used to alleviate gastro, diarrhoea and calms bowel inflammation (conditions such as gastritis, enteritis, crohns and IBD). Wind is also alleviated too! In TCM we talk about green tea opening the meridians and invigorating the constitution. For the most health promoting benefits, only lightly steep.
